A funny, yet poignant talk by Jane McGonigal, on gaming and how it can impact global issues in a positive way.  Favorite quote (mangled by me): “If we want to solve hungers like hunger, poverty, climate change, global conflict, obesity — I believe that we need to aspire to play games online for at least 21 billion hours a week, by the end of the next decade.” 

Jane makes much the same point as Jesse Schell did at DICE this year — that if we can harness the massive popularity of gaming, and utilize this as an educational / personal development system, then the possibilities are mind-boggling.  More on this later.
